I usually find hiring a plumber nerve-wracking, but I love Steven's Plumbing. Allan is such a nice, knowledgeable, efficient, gentle, fair and easy guy to work with. He always knows the problem, and performs the work perfectly. I've used him many times, and trust his work. Not an ounce of runaround. I dont feel that way about everyone. I always let him know if it's not an emergency, but he's usually out quickly anyhow, despite being so busy. He will prioritize emergencies first though, so you are in good hands.

Came all the way to hallettsville to inspect, same day called, didn’t have the tool needed to fix the issue, went back to the shop got the tool and came back and fixed the issue with our main line. All of this after normal working hours. Really can’t recommend these professionals enough! Awesome fast work from people that know how to get things done. Huey talked to us over the phone and was very specific on if he could get his service truck out here since the office was closing at five . Well he made it happened had his guys out here within the hour. Very nice guys and they worked hard and fast to fix the issue. Now we have water and can have family home for Christmas! Thank you!
Top-notch service from the very first phone call. Used them for a new well install and was very impressed with their business. Friedel beat out 5 other drillers that I received quotes from on both price and turnaround time. After paying my deposit they were drilling in 3 weeks- only took them 4-5 hours to hit water and cap the well.

First off I need to point out that my address is outside of Port Lavaca so I'm not on one of their normal routes, it looks like White Trash services all my neighbors. None the less Legacy said they would take care of me. I went with legacy because they are $20 a quarter cheaper than White Trash. In the past 3 months they've skipped picking up my trash 3 different weeks. Each of those times I called their office at least twice during the week and was assured they would be coming to get my trash that day, to which they didn't show up. In addition to those three entire weeks they skipped me there were a couple other times they skipped my Monday pick up, I would call, then they would show up Tuesday or Wednesday. This last time around I asked to speak to the manager, Brooks. I wanted some reassurance they were indeed able to service my home or at least let me know that I was simply too far out of the normal trash routes. I was assured I would receive a call from him within a day. I never heard back. I have since cancelled my service with them and set up service with White Trash. I asked Legacy to credit me the rest of the quarter back as well as the 3 weeks they entirely skipped me, now I'm again waiting to hear back from Brooks. All that said, my brother in Edna uses Legacy and hasn't had any issues that I'm aware of. Of course all of his neighbors are on Legacy too. The moral of the story would be to use whoever all of your neighbors use and spend the extra $20 if necessary to save yourself the headache. 5/22/19 update: never got a call, no refund, not even an apology.
These guys are the best in the business! I have been a customer of their rural trash service for the past couple of years, not one issue, ever. Had family guests over the weekend? No issue with the extra trash bags. Christmas at your house? Don’t sweat it, Legacy does not try to charge you for the occasional extra one or two bags for times like these. Great customer service, best drivers, great company.
I wonder how many customers are paying late fees due to this issue? Legacy’s billing service and office personnel and/or management lack any customer service skills and their system and administration have serious problems. On two occasions I have not received a bill. The first time, the lady that called me about 3 weeks after the bill was due told me a large percentage of customers with e-billing didn’t get the bills due to a glitch in their system. So I offered to help them and pay by credit card over the phone. I was charged a fee for using a credit card which was later refunded. However, the man I spoke to about the service fee initially said it was impossible to refund it. I told him it was not impossible and explained systems to him. He also told me I should have paid the bill even if they didn’t provide a bill. He said the problem was not their system but my email. Caught him in a lie...the lady already said it was a glitch in their system. He was rude and still insisted it was my fault. I requested a paper bill going forward so there would no further issues. So I get the paper bills for about 6 mos. until the June 2020 (3rd quarter 2020)...no bill. I knew I didn’t get the bill but I don’t have time get them to do their job at that moment. Legacy calls me on July 22nd to say my payment is late and I’ll be accessed a late fee if I don’t pay it now. I told the lady I didn’t get a bill and plan to re-evaluate my options and have been disposing of my trash at my other house. She hands me off to the same guy I spoke to the last time. He tells me it’s my fault and I shouldn’t expect them to bill me (for payment in advance mind you), I should just pay them. And if I want a bill and don’t get a bill I should call them. After some discussion and him talking over me, he tells me they recently cleaned up their system and anyone that had electronic and paper billing on their record was switched to electronic billing. Caught him in another lie...they touched my record which switched me back to e-billing...and I still didn’t get the bill! But I requested paper billing when this happen before I said. He tells me there is no note on their system to say I requested paper billing. Now the guy never catches on that I didn’t get an e-bill or paper bill because he is too busy arguing it’s my fault. And If he had any forethought he would have looked at my record which would show my payments are on time. He continues to talk non-stop, not listening to the customer, telling me it’s my fault. I can’t even interrupt him to get a word in. I had planned to reinstate their services when my job slows down and have time to contact them but now I WILL NEVER USE LEGACY again. Their e-billing system doesn’t work...they make changes to custom records without asking the customer their preference...the man is rude, argumentative and has no customer service skills...and they blame the customer for everything!
